Operation techniques of deep well pumps
1. Deep well pumps should be used in clean water sources with a sand content below 0.01%. A pre lubrication water tank should be installed in the pump room, and the capacity should meet the pre lubrication water volume required for one start-up.
2. For newly installed or overhauled deep well pumps, the clearance between the pump casing and impeller should be adjusted, and the impeller should not rub against the casing during operation.
Before operating the deep well pump, clean water should be introduced into the casing of the shaft and bearings for pre lubrication.
Before starting the deep well pump, the inspection items should meet the following requirements:
1) The foundation bolts of the base have been tightened;
2) The axial clearance meets the requirements, and the safety nut for adjusting the bolt has been installed;
3) The packing gland has been tightened and lubricated;
4) The motor bearings have been lubricated;
5) The rotation of the motor rotor and the stop mechanism by hand are both flexible and effective.
5. The deep well pump must not idle without water. The first and second stage impellers of the water pump should be submerged below 1 meter of water level. Regularly observe the changes in water level in the well during operation.
6. During operation, when significant vibration is found around the foundation, the wear of the bearings of the water pump or the packing of the motor should be checked; When there is excessive wear and water leakage, new parts should be replaced.
7. Deep well pumps containing mud and sand that have been sucked or discharged should be rinsed clean with clean water before stopping the pump.
Before stopping the pump, the water outlet valve should be closed, the power should be cut off, and the switch box should be locked. During winter shutdown, the accumulated water in the pump should be drained.
